SaaS Deployment
P4SaMD offers two cloud-hosted deployment options: Multi-tenant SaaS and Dedicated SaaS. Mia-Care manages both, so you never provision servers, manage databases, or handle platform upgrades.
Multi-tenant SaaS
In the multi-tenant model, your organization runs alongside other P4SaMD customers on a shared cloud infrastructure. Row-level security at the database layer and organization-scoped access control at the application layer isolate your data. No user from another organization can see or access it.
This is the fastest mode to start with: provisioning a new organization takes minutes. Platform updates are applied automatically during scheduled maintenance windows, so you always run the latest version.
The features available to your organization depend on your subscription plan.
Dedicated SaaS
In the dedicated model, Mia-Care provisions a private cloud environment for your organization alone: a dedicated Kubernetes cluster, dedicated database, and dedicated object storage. No other customer shares any part of your infrastructure.
Dedicated SaaS is available starting from the Professional plan. It is the recommended choice when:
- Your organization requires contractual data-isolation guarantees beyond logical row-level separation.
- You need a custom domain (e.g.,
samd.yourcompany.com) with a TLS certificate issued to your domain. - You have specific data-residency requirements (e.g., data must remain within a specific EU region).
- Your procurement or compliance process requires a dedicated-infrastructure vendor commitment.
Platform updates are applied during a scheduled maintenance window agreed with you, so your team has advance notice before any change is deployed.

System Requirements
P4SaMD SaaS is a managed, browser-based web application. There is nothing to install: Mia-Care provisions the servers, databases, and Kubernetes. Infrastructure requirements such as Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, object storage, and an OIDC provider apply only to On-premise deployments. The only requirements are on the end-user device.

Browsers and versions not listed above (including Microsoft Internet Explorer) are not officially supported. On an unsupported or outdated browser, parts of the interface may render or behave incorrectly. Keeping your browser updated to the latest available version is recommended.

Onboarding Prerequisites
Onboarding a new SaaS organization also requires only a few things on your side.
Mandatory

Getting Access
To create a new SaaS organization, contact Mia-Care or speak to your account representative. Provisioning typically completes within one business day for multi-tenant and three to five business days for dedicated environments.
Once your organization is provisioned, you will receive a welcome email with your instance URL, admin credentials, and a link to this documentation.
